SS Empire Peacemaker
Empire Peacemaker, originally laid down as HMS Scarborough Castle, was a convoy rescue ship.
She was originally laid down as the Castle class corvette, Scarborough Castle, pennant number K536, but was renamed and converted before completion. She was launched at Ferguson Brothers Ltd. shipyard in Glasgow on 8 September 1944 and brought into service in 1945. She was scrapped 1955 in Belgium. She was owned by the Ministry of War Transport and operated by Ellerman City Line.
